SI.MI. UNDERGROUND PARKING AREA

Project Description

The realization of the underground parking area in Vomero (NA) has been a real challenging test-bed, both technically and organizationally which has been brilliantly overcome. The area of the intervention in fact is inserted between very high buildings in one of the most busy road in Naples. The project consisted in the realization of bulkhead of concrete piles up to a depth of 17,50 mt. Due to the closeness with other buildings it has not been possible to build a free excavation up to the foundation level. The works went on and the floor in reinforced concrete has been realized (road level) directly laid on the ground duly flattened and inserted on both boundary posts and those built within the area of the parking to be. It has been waited for the suitable hardening process time, it has been dug below the floors up to first level below ground. The work progressed with the same methodology i.e. realizing the floors of first level below ground, inserting beams to posts thanks to epoxy resins and steel passing bars. Same sequence has been reiterated up to the reaching of supporting structure level. Once the supporting structure has been completed, the staircase/lift and the driveway have been realized backwards. Installation works, fire-alarm and all arch. finishing works peculiar to a parking area to be destined to private users completed the project.
