GRAZZANISE - N.A.T.O. MOBILE OPERATIONAL CENTRE

Project Description

It is about a work within the framework of Infrastructures for the settlement of NATO Telecommunications Operational Mobile Centre commissioned by “Aeronautica Militare 2° Reparto Genio A.M. 8° Gruppo Genio Campale”.

The job consists of designing and building of steel carpentry shelters for housing trucks and cars to be installed at Grazzanise Military Airport (CE). The covering is made of seven trusses, put in form of wheelbase equal to 7,0 m for trucks and 5,0 for cars. On the trusses stand purlins put in form of wheelbase, 1,41 m and for trucks 1,28 m for cars, and trapezoidal metal sheets. Total size of each shelter is m 8,6 x 42 for trucks and of m 5,2 x 30 for cars. These shelters are based on a 30 cm reinforced slab on grade within which stay anchored steel structure bolts.
